The following article explains the variants of this language in French, Spanish, and Italian, pointing out the level of feminization of functions, titles, and professions in a given language and, secondarily, the issue of generic masculinity and its replacement with doublets (masculine and feminine genders) or neologisms or graphic symbols that take the place of suffixes indicating grammatical gender. At the same time, it maps the reactions of language authorities to these relatively new phenomena in above mentioned languages.
