Abstract: The study examines the rhetorical strategies of the Slovak National Party (SNS) and the Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ) in their official Facebook communication from 2021 to 2024, with a focus on the use of alternative facts. Methodologically, it combines quantitative corpus analysis (via Sketch Engine), qualitative coding, word cluster identification, and discourse analysis. The aim is to uncover linguistic manipulation techniques in political social media discourse, illustrating how strategies like emotionalization, polarization, and simplification shape and reinforce political narratives.
