Abstract: Stigmatisation and exclusion in public communication represent a serious social problem because they prevent individuals or groups from self-realisation or limit them in it. These phenomena occur for various reasons and to varying degrees in every society. The study focuses on the verbal, and to a lesser extent multimodal, representation of selected social contexts from the past and present, with an emphasis on the stigmatisation and exclusion of certain social groups in public communication.
