Abstract: In the study we analyze the political discourse of right-wing politicians Santiago Abascal and Alvise Pérez. Both are considered to be on the extreme right in Spain, and one of the controversial topics in their discourse and public speeches is the issue of immigration and immigrants in Spain. This research article reports on a qualitative study based on a corpus of speeches by Santiago Abascal and Alvise Pérez published online in the period 2023-2025. The aim is to provide a critical content analysis and linguistic analysis of their speeches and to identify and characterize the populist discursive about migration features present in his communications. The linguistic analysis seeks to identify the linguistic resources used by the speaker to connect with his followers. It demonstrates how the speaker uses different persuasive strategies to arouse emotions and feelings in the audience, using simple, direct, and accessible language to connect with the public.
